Interesting School Statistics
I thought these two charts from this post by Andrew J. Coulson of the Cato Institute sent to me by a friend were very shocking.

These charts provide a very different perspective on the growth in the number of public school employees and the cost of public education than what most people would expect.

Interesting School Statistics
I would be willing to bet graphing government employment, compared to what we get in return, would look very similar. Those stats, although not entirely surprising, are sobering.
It just shows that throwing money at the problem, doesn't solve anything. Accountability and serious reform, including the abolishment of tenure, are necessary before anything will improve.
Great graphs
Wow, those two graphs really do tell a story. Thanks for posting them.
