I noticed this story today in the Washington Post. Apparently a couple scam artists are soliciting donations to the Kerry campaign through emails in "phishing" attempts. The emails actually direct the funding to web sites in India and Texas. Both the Bush and Kerry campaigns have said they will stop taking private donations after receiving their party's nomination. So, any emails requesting money for the campaign are phony. Don't get caught.
